Bill is a solutions-oriented Process Improvement professional with more than 25 years of experience in leveraging Lean, Organizational Development and Systems Thinking concepts to close business gaps.

Bill has a passion for developing leaders and their teams at all levels from executives to the frontline. Bill strives for measurable impact in both the business processes and the people processes.

Bill is skilled at designing and facilitating a range of goal-oriented group experiences from large group (50+) system-level strategic experiences; to Conflict management (both intra-group and inter-group); to Continuous Improvement and Change Processes; as well as Learning/Training sessions.

Bill also has a passion for teaching adults and preparing the next generation of leaders in the disciplines of Continuous Improvement and Management. He has held Adjunct Faculty positions at the Leadership Institute of Seattle’s, Master of Organization Systems program; Seattle University’s Executive Masters of Non-Profit Leadership and currently at Central Washington’s BA in Supply Chain Management and Seattle Central College’s Health Management Services Program.

• He has worked with companies from a wide range of industries including IT, specialty chemical, chemical distribution, appliance manufacturing, insurance, higher education and healthcare in the US, Canada, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
• Designed and facilitated numerous Leadership Development programs in multiple industries

• Led 100+ Process Improvement workshops in multiple industries

• Introduced and implemented the use of Social/Organization Network Analysis to improve collaboration, talent management and org structure across Microsoft IT.

• Facilitated a nine-month project to prepare an Orthopedic Service Line for a new payment system from the government.

• Facilitated improvement work in an emergency department over a two-year period to improve the speed of patient flow during peak months.

• Taught, coached, facilitated 1000+ graduate and undergraduate students using experiential education and project-based learning methods in the areas of Action Research, Quality Improvement, and Leadership
